So I’ve been away from here for a while and I know I definitely neglect this blog. One day I’ll have all the hours in the land to craft, write, help parents, home educate etc! One day ill be that old lady who lives in a shoe, only I know exactly what ill be doing…making beautiful things! So since my last, I still have no idea what I’m doing with those hexagons! But for valentines day I did make some beautiful hearts š
The pattern was super quick and easy and was a great way to use up some of my girly coloured scraps š You can find the pattern here, pretty aren’t they? I just joined them with a simple chain, 20ch and then through the top of the heart, ch15 into the second top and then 25ch between the hearts.
Also on the heart front, T and I did some plastic art, this is a great way to recycle plastic carrier bags and brighten up any window, with the weather at the moment I felt this was a must!
Its so simple to do, just arrange your plastic how you like and sandwich between baking paper or tracing paper and iron on a low heat. the plastic melts together and you can trap sequins etc in it, and you can even free machine onto it too.
Home ed, is going great, our days are our own, to do what we like and have loads of fun in the process, the best part is that my boys are happy š Currently on my hook is a lovely bobbly blanket. its constantly making me cheery! Ill show you that over the next few days, peace x
